How our farm began...
Our family owned and operated "Cut Your Own" Christmas tree farm was started back in the early 1970's by our Dad, Joe. Known by many as the "Tree Man", Dad was one of the friendliest guys you'd ever meet! The farm at that time was located behind our family homestead on Route 715 in Brodheadsville.
After many years of planting, trimming, and selling trees during the Christmas season, Troy and Gary realized that a larger farm was necessary in order to have an adequate supply of trees for the growing number of customers, and those who returned each year! In 1980 the brothers purchased land on the nearby Effort Neola Road and moved the business to the present location, now known as DeHaven's Christmas Tree Farm.
In 2007, God called Dad home at the age of 85, but he is fondly remembered by all that knew him. Today, DeHaven's Christmas
Tree Farm is proudly owned and operated by Troy and Gary, along with their wives Beth and Shelly, and their children, Kylie, Kennedy, Taylor, and Kylie's husband Nick. We
know Dad is looking down and smiling as his family carries on the tradition of growing fresh, quality Christmas trees as he had done for so many years
before.
We invite you to come and meet our family, stroll through our fields or take a wagon ride, and enjoy the picturesque scenery during the most festive time of the year... Christmas!
